So Glen came to share for our class today about his latest work with Jesus People USA – the heirs of the hippie Jesus movement back in the day. Here is a powerful person of influence who shared deep brokenness in such a lighthearted, candid, humorous, deeply humble, wonderful way. Glen reminds me of Henri Nouwen, who is wrestling with deep issues of vocation and finding holiness and spirituality at work by this thing called “downward mobility.”
Jesus People USA are officially recognized as a Covenant church since 1989, with numerous ministries of profound compassion to the poor in Chicago.
