Well I’ve up and done it this time.

I took it upon myself to rehost, redesign, restructure our church website and I am quite pleased with the results if I shant say so myself, so go check it out here: www.nwmissio.org. It may look the same but underneath the hood it’s ten times better. And the website is just the “surface change”… deeper changes are rumbling underneath the surface with the mission and outworkings of the church…

We are now meeting once a month @ the 8th Day building in downtown Bellingham – a place I’ve always wanted to incarnate in (downtown that is). I’ve no easy answer as to why I am drawn there; it’s a far cry from NYC but I’ve always loved its grunginess, and have loved it as a “third place” neighborhood. As such I’ve always wanted to plant a church in the heart of it, where none else dare go. And maybe the city-slicker in me still hasn’t left; I’m not as enthused about church planting in the ‘burbs, although I recognize its necessity.

Of course the question is why only once a month? And I’ll answer that if anyone asks.

But the Facebook invite is here. Cmon. Get hooked up.

Man! You did all that with WordPress? I’m royally impressed. Did you have to set up a database for that or what that automatically generated for you?

Hey Lee – I downloaded wordpress.org and then uploaded the blog interface on the web server. I had to tamper around with the coding here and there, for some adjustments, but much of it was doable thru the wordpress interface. I’m practicing not using it tho and going straighter way into the code so I can get better at this. A few classes in html and web design helped back in school, albeit almost 15 yrs ago…

just hit up your blog and tried to comment but the comment link wouldn’t direct me thru… mebbe i’ll try it in internet exp…
